Ushaw Moor Community Garden

Community

Seeking volunteers

The Community Garden is open during daylight hours throughout the year. It provides a great space for the community to enjoy and use. It provides a place for many people to use daily from school children passing through on the way to School or back home and those who go to relax or even exercise there.

The Community Garden has been open for many years and is an established part of our village despite a few folks not having visited yet. So please visit and spread the word to family and friends. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the Community Garden and to use their horticultural skills or simply grow some flowers and vegetables for family and friends. Events we held in the past have attracted over 200 people.

The garden is open from dusk till dawn

If you would like to volunteer feel free to call along Wednesday 9 am – 12 noon or Saturdays 10 am – 12 noon

The address of the Community Garden is: Rear of Durham Road, Ushaw Moor, Durham, DH7 7LF, next to St Josephs Church.
